One Day Itinerary
Starting Time: 8 AM in the Morning
Ending Time: 6 PM in the Evening
Starting Location: Kathmandu
Ending Location: Bhaktapur
Time By Time Itinerary:
At 9:00 am: After breakfast in the morning we gather together in the All Apex Treks office at Thamel for hiking around Kathmandu Valley. We start our hiking from the beautiful village of Sankhu which takes about 1 hour drive from our office. We leave our office for Sankhu around 9 am in the morning.
At 10:00 am: With1 hour of driving we reach the beautiful village of Sankhu. We will visit many religious places around Sankhu like Salinadi Temple, Bajrayogini, Shree Swosthani Devi Temple and the holy river often called as Sali Nadi.
At 11:00 am: After sightseeing around Sankhu we will start our hiking campaign towards another religious temple of Bhaktapur district, Changunarayan. Changu Narayan is considered as the oldest temple in Nepal located on a high hilltop of the beautiful village of Changu.
At 1:00 pm: After the 2 hours of hiking, we will continue of sighseeing around the beautiful monuments and forests of Changu. Changu offers the finest view of the Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
At 02:00 pm: After sightseeing around Changu Narayan Temple we will again hike back towards the beautiful city of Bhaktapur which takes about 1 hour walking. We can find the various religious monuments along with beautiful green cultivated land around us while hiking back to Bhaktpur.
At 03:30 pm: We will move towards the Bhaktapur Durbar Square for furthur sightseeing. Bhaktapur offers one of the clean and beautiful monuments of the ancient period. Bhaktapur has many beautiful monuments like the 5 stored Temple, the beautiful lake of Siddha Pokhari, Golden Temple, Datatriya Temple and Bhaktapur Museum.
At 06:00 pm: Around 6 pm, we return back to our office and end our beautiful one day hiking around the Kathmandu Valley.
