Manang Trekking (13 Nights/14 Days)

The Pisang and Chulus Peaks rise north of the Marsyangdi river in the Manang region. It is an arid landscape with huge glacial morains abound etched deeply by wind erosion into fantastic pillars. The trek takes you trhough a wonderful variety of landscapes and cultures. In the lower subtropical regions of the valley where Gurung and Thakali people dominate, to the ethnically and socia interesting Manangba people of the upper valley.

The actual trek into Manang via the Marsyangdi river is a verry interesting trek especially for trekkers with an eye for the Chulus or Pisang.
The middle hills are well populated and are the main highways and trade routes of the country.
