Pokalde Peak Climbing (17 Nights/18 Days)

The Pokalde is a crenelated rocky ridge dominated by a vast bulk of Nuptse. First climbed by a route from Kongma La in 1953. The summit provides a great viewpoint and from that perspective is a little peak.

Wilfrid Noyce wrote: "A jolly ridge, in the alpine sense.... Everest and Makalu reared above the clouds like k9 teeth."
The northern side of the mountain has a small hanging glacier that is best reached along the ridge rising from the Kongma La.
